Filgrastim 300 mcg Injection is a recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) indicated for the management of Neutropenia, particularly in patients undergoing chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, or those with certain hematological conditions. It works by stimulating the bone marrow to produce and release neutrophils, thereby enhancing the body’s ability to fight infections and reducing the duration and severity of neutropenia.
This injectable formulation is administered via subcutaneous or intravenous routes, depending on clinical requirements, and is commonly used in oncology settings to support immune recovery and improve treatment outcomes. Filgrastim plays a critical role in reducing infection-related complications, hospitalizations, and treatment delays associated with low white blood cell counts.
The product is manufactured using advanced recombinant DNA technology, ensuring high purity, consistency, and biological activity. It is supplied in sterile, ready-to-use injectable form, designed for accurate dosing and ease of administration in clinical environments. Filgrastim is widely recognized for its effectiveness and reliability in supportive cancer care and is also marketed under well-known brand names such as Neupogen.
